In my experiance the best place to ski is in Saint Martin de Belleville. the snow here is excelent with plenty of variations in the grade of slope, there is loads of accomadation were it is even possible to ski into the building, the lifts are quiet and you can ski to any of the resorts in the three valles. there is also plenty of nice restraunts and places to rent skiis.
